Akira Kusaka is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Osaka, known for his moody, grainy-textured digital artwork created entirely in Photoshop. His signature style often blends elements of music and moonlight, bringing a quiet, poetic atmosphere to his illustrations. He is also a trombone player in a two-man band called “Repair,” and his love for music often echoes through his art.

Cozyca was started in 2013 by the well-established stationery company, Hyogensha, which was founded in 1948. Cozyca was launched to promote the works of independent artists and inspire writers through the production of beautiful stationery that depicts the view from the different artists' worlds. In Kyoto, Cozyca's store "Hiraeth" displays all the artist collaboration stationery designs they have produced, as well as exhibits different artists' works in their gallery on the top floor.
