For when Carbon Black isn’t quite enough, Platinum has come out with their “blackest-black” ink in their 104 year history. Chou Kuro is 46.8% darker than Carbon black. Through the use of pigment, Chou Kuro is water and fade resistant. This long-lasting ink is perfect for documents and journals where permanence is crucial.

Platinum recommends cleaning this ink with distilled water only as the ink can react and stain with the minerals in regular tap water.

Ink care:

• Because this is a pigment ink, once it dries, it may be difficult to clean out your pen. To avoid the possibility of internal clogging, we recommend using your inked pen frequently, using broader nibs, or using dip pens.
• Shake bottle well before use to evenly distribute the pigment.
• Keep bottle away from heat, humidity, and sunlight.
• Recommended to clean this ink with distilled water only.
