SAI Watercolor Brush Pen

SAI Watercolor Brush Pens by Akashiya come with a very soft synthetic bristle brush tip and vibrant colors. Available in 20 different colors, these brushes make a great palette for easy painting and watercoloring, especially when away from your home art studio. Since the ink is water soluble, you can also blend two colors, or dilute the colors with a waterbrush to create a gradient in your painting. The watercolor swatches show the pens used on their own, the pen with water added on top, and then finally with the pen used on top of wet paper.

About Akashiya:

Akashiya, based in Nara, Japan, was founded in 1716 and is well-known for their high quality brushes, inks and other supplies used by scholars of Japanese brush calligraphy.
