The Superior Labor - A6 Calf Leather Notebook Cover. This notebook cover is crafted from vegetable-tanned cow shoulder leather that will last a lifetime and become more lustrous with with use. It is sized to protect your A6 sized notebooks and planners. The width of the inside insert allows for the inside paper to maintain a level surface against the cover. With use, the leather will soften and darken, transforming into your own unique belonging that protects your favorite writing instruments.
Because each case is individually crafted from organic leather, no two cases are the same. There will be individual differences in the color, thickness, and texture of the leather.
About The Superior Labor: Founded by former auto mechanic and leather artisan Makoto Kawai, this lifestyle brand crafts a variety of high-quality everyday tools that promote slow and intentional living. Kawai considers The Superior Labor as a natural extension of his experience working with cars, crafting leather goods, traveling, and curating vintage wares. All of The Superior Labor’s design and manufacturing takes place in a former elementary school campus in the rural and mountainous area of Kaga-gun, Okayama Prefecture, where Kawai lives and works. Called “nap village,” it welcomes visitors to come and experience The Superior Labor’s living and crafting philosophy while exploring the wonderful nature of Mount Hongu.
